10U Gold Championship Recap
The Joliet Jaguars (5-0-0) claimed the 10U Gold division title with a commanding 9-3 victory over the Romeoville Huskies (4-1-0). The Jaguars started strong with four goals in the first period and continued their offensive pressure throughout the game. Despite the Huskies’ efforts, including two goals in the second period, the Jaguars maintained control, sealing the win with a balanced attack across all three periods.
12U Gold Championship Recap
In a tightly contested 12U Gold championship game, the Chicago Stallions (4-1-0) edged out the Yellowjackets (4-1-0) with a 2-1 win. After both teams remained scoreless in the first period, the second period saw each team put a goal on the board. The Stallions managed to break the tie in the third period, holding off the Yellowjackets’ late-game surge to secure the title.
14U Gold Championship Recap
The Joliet Jaguars-1 (4-1-0) came from behind to win the 14U Gold division championship with a 4-1 victory over HF Selects (3-2-0). The Selects took an early lead with a first-period goal, but the Jaguars responded with four unanswered goals in the second period to turn the game in their favor. Both teams battled hard, but neither side managed to score in the third period, allowing the Jaguars to claim the championship.
